7/8 Inch Sterling Silver Oval St. Catherine Medal, Patron Saint of Europe and Italy

7/8 x 1/2 inch satin and antiqued finish sterling silver St. Catherine oval medal on an 18 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised profile image of Saint Catherine on the front, who is carrying a book, a cross, and a bouquet of flowers. Saint Catherine is one of only four women who were named Doctor of the Church, and so her writings, prayers, and letters have special authority in Catholicism.
